I am saddened that the show didn't have this couple work on their problems and stay married. They always looked good together and seemed like a great couple who just had some new marriage problems to work out/inlaw problems (like many new couples do). They were a much more exciting couple than her divorce lawyer that she married. I don't even remember his name he was so boring. Bring Trey back!

They always made it seem like it was all Trey’s fault. He tried to sleep with her when they were dating and Charlotte was too stupid and hypocritical to do it and then she would have know about his ED problem before marriage. When that issue was sorted out, then came the issue with conceiving. Trey was very supportive and excited too. But when things weren’t happening, managing Charlotte was a difficult job. He was a doctor, his life was pretty hectic as it was. The only issue with Trey was his mother and that he didn’t do anything to set boundaries. Poor Trey.

That was pretty painful.

I think this way of thinking sets people up for misery- the notion that they will meet their one true love & then they can stop trying because all their problems will be solved. For one, that places far too much pressure on “the one.” It also causes people to let themselves go after marriage and lose any sense of who they are (other than married to someone else).
